This agreement is a legal contract between you and Lantern VPN (the 'Service Provider') regarding your download, installation, and use of the App and related VPN services.

By downloading or using the App, you acknowledge and agree to these terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, extract source code, translate app text, or create derivative versions of the App without authorization. Intellectual property rights related to the App belong to the Service Provider. To maintain service quality, we may adjust features, plans, or fees and will communicate material changes when required. Users are responsible for device security and account confidentiality; jailbreaking or rooting may reduce security and affect app functionality.

This Service integrates some necessary third-party services (such as Google Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, etc.). During use, you are simultaneously bound by the respective terms of service of these partners.

Service limitations: the App depends on a stable network environment, including Wi-Fi or mobile data. The Service Provider is not responsible for inability to use the service caused by unpaid carrier bills, data limits, weak signal, third-party network failures, or local device restrictions. Mobile carriers may charge data fees outside Wi-Fi, and roaming fees are the user's responsibility. Before using the App, ensure you have permission from the bill payer.

Users are responsible for their own usage behavior. Device battery depletion, operating system restrictions, or local network failures are not covered by compensation. Although we work to provide accurate routing information, some data may come from third-party partners; we are not liable for direct or indirect losses arising from that information. The App may release updates for compatibility and security, and you agree to install the latest version when necessary. The Service Provider may adjust or terminate service within a reasonable scope.
